This is a reply to those posts that say things like “real women have curves!” etc. Not having curves doesn’t make you any less of a real woman.
Note: I am not trying to imply that HAVING curves makes you less of a real woman either…

I’m focusing on messages that I’ve seen on Tumblr that put down skinny girls, such as one that I saw that said “Men like meat on their girls, bones are for dogs” (something along those lines). I think “real women have curves” is better, and it’s great about encouraging women of all shapes to feel okay in their skin, but it’s unnecessary and wrong to have to put down skinny girls in the process :)

i’m no where NEAR being skinny but i couldn’t agree more. everyBODY is beautiful. you are no less a “real woman” because you’re skinny and no less a “real woman” because you’re bigger.

Okay so, um.  to clear up this argument. i feel that a size or shape does NOT define the term woman. a WOMAN is a person that respects herself and others around her. takes responsibility for what she does. Does not take bullshit from ANYONE. doesn’t throw pity parties when something goes wrong. and most of all Loves herself!!!
